Gohei mochi

Ingredients(for 2 people/8 parts)

Mochi

・ Rice 600g (2 go)

・ 3 tablespoons of potato starch or cornstarch

・ 8 disposable chopsticks

Sauce(Walnut version)

・Walnut 60g

・ 50ml of water

・ 1 tablespoons of soy sauce

・ 3 tablespoons of sugar

・ 1 tablespoon of miso

Sauce (soy sauce version)

・Walnut 60g

・ 100ml of water

・ 2 tablespoons of soy sauce

・ 2 tablespoons of sugar

・ 1 tablespoon of potato starch or cornstarch

Put walnuts in a food processor in advance.

1,Put rice and potato starch in a bowl and mix with a spatula. Crush the rice by pounding it with a rolling pin.

2,When the rice grains are gone, divide it into 8 equal parts.

Wet your hands with water and squeeze firmly to add rice to the split.

3,Make the sauce. First make a walnut version. Put water, soy sauce, sugar and miso in a pan and simmer for about 1 minute. Add the crushed walnuts and mix. Transfer the sauce to a container.

4,Next, make a soy sauce version. Put water, soy sauce and sugar in a pan and bring to a boil. Boil for about a minute. Dissolve the amount of potato starch in the same amount of water. Mix while putting it in a pan with a thinness that makes the thread hang down. Transfer the sauce to a container.

5.Apply 4 walnut sauces and 4 soy sauce sauces. Bake in the oven at 180 ° C for 3 minutes.
